About our Judge: Gabriella Boros

Gabriella Boros has shown her prints, paintings and multimedia works nationally and internationally. Currently focusing on woodblock prints, Gabriella also paints, draws and sculpts. Born in Israel, Gabriella immigrated to the US as a child. She has a BFA from the University of Michigan School of Art.

In 2020, Gabriella was commissioned to do an artist residency at the Bernheim Arboretum in Kentucky, since cancelled due to the Covid Pandemic. She showed her Judaic work at the Rissman Gallery of North Suburban Temple Beth El, and hopefully will take part in the Print Biennale at Douro, Portugal. In 2019, she had solo shows at Galleri Allergi in Stockholm and at Northwestern University’s Dittmar Gallery. In 2018, Gabriella was chosen for a residency at Grand Marais Artist Colony in Minnesota and received an Illinois Arts Council Grant. Her work can be found at www.gabriellaboros.com.
