Founded in 1981 by Carol Friedle, Expressions Studio is a non-profit fine art print studio serving the Oak Park community and beyond. Expressions offers a welcoming and affordable education in printmaking—through personalized teaching and a supportive community. Whether you’re a beginner or master printmaker, Expressions offers a creative outlet and the ability to explore diverse techniques, all within an intimate social setting.

Our volunteer-run facilities include a working press shop committed to safe and eco-friendly alternative methods, and a gallery space open to the public. We offer art classes and education outreach programs for all skill levels. Our gallery presents seasonal exhibitions and printmaking demonstrations in order to share our expertise with the community and to promote a general interest in print and paper arts.
