Saturdays Nov.1,8,15. Optional Oct. 22, 1:30-3pm

  • 3 classes only $105 (includes supplies)

  • Extra Studio Time: 3 classes with one additional day of time to work (4 classes) $130.

  • Pick one class: Only attend one class $50.

 In this class we will touch on 3 beginning printing techniques. After learning these 3 techniques you can explore your plates during the monitored studio day. Open to all levels.

Session 1: Styrofoam puzzle plate prints-Using a Styrofoam plate, we’ll be drawing and cutting

our plates to construct interesting compositions with various color of ink.

Session 2: Rubbercuts on fabric – (Guest instructor Christi Dallam) Using eraser-like blocks, you will explore repeat patterning printed onto a bandana or tea towel.

Session 3: Ghost drawings and Reductive printing- Using an oil-based ink we’ll draw our designs on our plates and then wipe areas away to make a high contrast monotype.
