Expressions Studio is a paper and print arts studio and gallery serving the Oak Park community and beyond. We offer an affordable education in both printmaking and paper arts through personalized teaching and a supportive community. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced artist, Expressions offers a creative outlet and the ability to explore diverse techniques, all within a welcoming setting.
Expressions is Seeking a Part-time Executive Director
8-12 hrs/month
Duties include:
1. Main contact for Expressions Graphics general affairs
2. Attend and give a report at board meetings
3. Studio orientation for new members, teachers, printmakers, artists
4. Oversees yearly calendar: gallery sitting, press shop rental, and classes, events
5. Oversee fundraisers and programming
6. Contact for building/studio maintenance
7. Conflict resolution
8. Oversee website updates
9. Arrange clean up days quarterly
10. Oversee interns (High school and college when applicable)
11. Coordinate the Oak Park Area Arts Council Grant
12. Manage Expressions Studio social media
Hours: 8-12 hours a month
Pay : $300 monthly
